Sarah Fetter

Sarah Fetter is the Founder and CEO of 121 Ventures where she partners with family offices, investment funds, foundations, and universities to build and strengthen communities of entrepreneurs, investors, and operators with the ability to move resources, shape institutions, and act at scale. Select work includes partnerships with Coinbase founder Fred Ehrsam to produce the Prometheus Summit for leading founders & scientists building at the frontier of human enhancement; Dan Harris (10% Happier) and Matt Harris (Bain Capital Ventures) to co-found Aperture—a meditation retreat led by Joseph Goldstein & Sharon Salzberg; Pharrell Williams to host his Mighty Dream Forum; Vanderbilt University to support its $3.2BN Dare to Grow Campaign; the Walton Family Foundation Education Team to support its underwriting activities for the Aspen Ideas Festival and Aspen Security Forum; D1 Capital Partners to produce a founder retreat for its private portfolio; and Graham Duncan of East Rock Capital to launch the fund's tech-focused investing arm. She also produced the 2020-2023 Sohn Investment Conferences in partnership with CNBC to support research & treatment of pediatric cancer. She previously served as Managing Director at East Rock Capital and led Dialog, an off-the-record global retreat series founded by Peter Thiel and Auren Hoffman that gathered the world's leading business, political, military, academic, and creative leaders. Earlier, she spent five years in education working for Joel I. Klein—first managing the NYC School Board in the Michael R. Bloomberg Administration and subsequently helping to launch and scale the educational technology company Amplify. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University in Latin American Studies and International Studies.
